PRESIDENT

Must be an Active Member in good standing.  Must attend Board Meetings. Must attend General Meeting. Is elected by Membership at the December General Meeting.

Set Board meeting dates & locations.

Attend & preside over Board Meetings, as per set agenda.

Attend & preside over General Meeting, as per agenda.

Appoint committee chairs (along with the Executive Board) . 

At the Sept meeting, ask for volunteers (3) to serve on the Nominating Committee.

Be a cosigner on the Checking and Saving Account.

When there is a motion on the floor, it is voted on and there is a tie, the President shall vote.

1st VICE PRESIDENT

Must be an Active Member in good standing.  Must attend Board Meetings. Must attend General Meeting. Is elected by Membership at the December General Meeting.

Preside over the Board Meetings when President is absent.

Attend the General Meetings.

Preside over General Meetings when President is absent.

2ND VICE PRESIDENT

Must be an Active Member in good standing.  Must attend Board Meetings. Must attend General Meeting. Is elected by Membership at the December General Meeting.

Attend the Board Meetings.

Preside over the Board Meetings when President and Vice President is absent.

Attend the General Meetings.

Preside over General Meetings when President and Vice President is absent.

TREASURER

Must be an Active Member in good standing.  Must attend Board Meetings. Must attend General Meeting. Is elected by Membership at the December General Meeting.

Attend Board Meetings and provide current financial statements to the Board each month.

Signer on the Checking and Saving account at Chase Bank.

Responsible for preparing the Budget at the January Board meeting for the next year.

Pay all invoices presented if within the budget.  Any items not in the budget, must be approved by the Board.  

Prepare and file statement with the Arizona Corporation Commission each January.

Maintain as asset list of all items that are purchased by the Club along with serial numbers.

If a person wants to join the Desert Dolphins in the last quarter of the fiscal year (Nov 1 to Jan 30th), that we charge $5.00 for the last quarter and $20.00 for the next year’s membership, for a total of $25.00 for 15 months of membership. 

CORRESPONDING SECRETARY

Must be an Active Member in good standing.  Must attend Board Meetings. Must attend General Meeting. Is elected by Membership at the December General Meeting.

Attend Board Meetings.

Send Thank You notes to speakers and other people, per the Board’s request.

Send any kind of written correspondence to whomever.

Attend General Meetings, Social Functions & other events.

RECORDING SECRETARY

Must be an Active Member in good standing.  Must attend Board Meetings. Must attend General Meeting. Is elected by Membership at the December General Meeting.

Attend Board Meetings.

Take minutes of the Board Meeting and distribute them to Board Members via DropBox and email.

Responsible for the DropBox Account.

Attend General Meetings.
