Ever thought about diving somewhere off the beaten path? Getting away in a remote area of the world?
Jack's presentation will take us on a journey from Raja Ampat to Maumere, Indonesia, transiting four seas and the Ring of Fire.

General Meeting & Educational Presentation
February 17, 2027
Get ready for a visual feast as Laurie takes us through the lens on a journey across three world-class dive destinations from her 2026 travels: Palau, Puerto Galera, and Cozumel!
She will be diving deep into the intricate, tiny, and colorful world of macro underwater photography — featuring stunning shots of nudibranchs, vibrant corals, and fascinating reef fish (focusing in close on the details!). While macro is the star of the show, expect a few magnificent wide-angle shots to capture the full scope of the reefs... and yes, there will definitely be a turtle! 🐢📸
A neat trick: if you are using Google calendar, you can go to the left, scroll down to "Other Calendars". Click the "+" sign, then "from URL", then scroll down to "Integrate Calendar" and enter the following gobbledygook (all one line, cut and paste is best):
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=board%40desertdolphins.org&ctz=America%2FPhoenix
Then, all the Desert Dolphins activities will automatically appear on your calendar!
